In the lift

One of the things that I do not like is being in a lift with a total stranger. The worst part of it is being in the car is when the other stranger is giving you that grin or the looks.

I had that brief moments earlier when I was on the way to the office. It wasn’t a very long ride, just 3 floors in the rather slow ‘lift motion’.

The guy had entered to the car together with me at the basement parking. The lift is the only access to my office, together with the fire escape. It was the only convenient access.

When he entered the lift, he brushed into me, something that I wasn’t totally comfortable it was someone older. Imagine this, working class, drives a decent car, he has got to be somewhere around the age of late 20s or early 30s. At least his face tells me so.

At first, it was the stare, then he started talking.

When he realized that he had not command the lift to his floor, he brush into me again to press the button. This time more violently rubbing against me. He was so near to me that I almost felt his breathing, with that mint breath over my left ear.

It was my floor, and when the lift door opens, I hurried out. He hold me by my hip, and pulled me back. He introduced himself and pass me his name card. It was a very weird moment, and suddenly he hurdle into me, and give me a kiss on the cheek.

Weird, very weird.
